Between a rock and a hard place
Who can endure
Feeling so hard pressed, can’t do this no more
But then. I look to my shadow,
And amazed I am in flight
Somewhere within I just might
I will fight this fight
The battle is not over, cause the battle is not mine
This season will pass, as does time
And when it is over I will look back
And learn to be kinder to myself through hard times
